Student Protection Scheme (SPS)
In our pursuit to look after the interests of our students, we have adopted the Student Protection Scheme (SPS) and opted for two means of providing student protection;
- Standard Student Contract
- Standard Tuition Fee Account (Escrow)
ASK has a declared policy for all students to enter into a Standard Student Contract by signing with the student or legal guardian.
Students are subsequently advised to pay their tuition fees through the Standard Tuition Fee Account (Escrow).
The SPS serves to protect the students' fees in the event a Private Education Organization (PEO) is unable to continue operations due to insolvency, and/or regulatory closure. Furthermore, the SPS protects the student if the PEO fails to pay penalties or return fees to the student arising from judgments made against it by the Singapore courts.
ASK has a transparent and legal framework for refund of course fees in the case of transfer and withdrawal. Our Transfer, Refund and Withdrawal policies are clearly stated in the Student Handbook, so that students are duly informed.
Students can be assured that ASK School of Management is totally committed to our obligations under the declared Service Statement above, in all our academic, administrative and business practices. We view this as fundamental to our vision of being a world-class educational institution. Students can trust that we will be with them every step of the way in their educational pursuit.
In accordance with CASE's guidelines, I declare the following:
- ASK's average lecturer to student ratios are:
i. - ASK and partner institutions academic courses: 1 to 25
- The maximum capacity of ASK Centre at Premier Centre is 80 students.
- We have 4 classrooms with varying sizes; ranging from classrooms for 12 to 30 students.
